I recently watched a programme on television about faith healing, featuring Weston Carryer and Bill Subritzky. During the broadcast of the programme, I was reminded of my own healing after being prayed for at a Weston Carryer meeting. I have been carrying his pamphlet around, Keeping Your Healing, ever since it was given to me at the Apostolic Church in November 2000.
At the service, Weston called for someone with psoriasis to come forward. I was not sure it was me as I only had small amounts of psoriasis. Weston was insistent, so I said I have a little bit of psoriasis. I went up still unsure why psoriasis and not something major, like a stroke. Father God ministered to me so swiftly and I was out on the floor for a long time being ministered to—crying and laughing and shaking. I remember trying to stand but could not get above about two feet. The Holy Spirit wasn’t done with me until He was done with me!
Well, the first thing that happened was the itching went. Psoriasis—no matter how much it itches and you scratch— weeps and flakes, and you scratch more just to be free of the itch. Now the psoriasis site on my knee has lovely new skin and no sign of where it was. The psoriasis that was on my scalp and up the back of my head has also gone. My hairdresser can’t believe it. Here I am some ten months later and I am psoriasis- free.
