Tanya was a pretty, vivacious nine-year-old, however, she was a hurting, self-conscious child whose urge was to shun everyone. Around her mouth she had a hideous, scaly rash which was an acute embarrassment, and which was making her withdraw into herself. She was also suffering from a swollen face, an ulcerated mouth, high fever and inflamed tonsils, besides which, she had a rash covering her face, arms and legs.
Late one morning she attended a healing ministry conducted by Weston Carryer. Weston laid hands on Tanya and offered a simple prayer of faith for her healing. By 5:00 PM the fever had left her, the sores on her mouth had dried up, her tonsils were no longer painful and the skin rash was reduced to patches here and there only. To God be all glory because our eyes saw this happen. Tanya herself knew it was God who had healed her. She waited up until after her father got home from the late shift he was on so she could show and tell him of her healing. Tanya went back to the doctor next day. His report was:
Blood test: Normal
Urine Test: Normal
Fever: Gone
Tonsillitis: Cleared
Mouth Sores: Cleared
He said to her, “Tanya, you sure are a mystery. I have never seen anything like this before.”
