About a year ago, for a period of about eight months, I suffered from severe foot pain every morning when I got out of bed. I would crunch my toes under and hobble to the bathroom. A last minute decision to attend a night service where Weston Carryer was ministering saw my neighbour and myself in the second-to-back row. I was called up for healing of fallen arches. Weston insisted that I remove my footwear so he could confirm my condition. I refused because I had been wearing Ugg boots without socks all day. After some discussion back and forth I finally agreed to remove one boot with a warning he might be the one slain on the floor. Weston prayed. I sat down with no immediate awareness of change. The next morning I got out of bed and one foot was completely healed; the other was still in crippling pain. Guess which one was healed? I went to my neighbour and told her. After almost crying together with laughter, I said, “Well, what do I do now?”
She said, “Apologize to God for your pride and ask Him to complete the healing.” The following morning I strode to the bathroom with two healed feet and have never had any feet problems since. My heavenly Father has an amazing sense of humour and unlimited love.
