Hello everyone.
Time for a short update.
It’s been a great season.
I really do love what I’m involved in, which is catching up with Pastors and leaders and speaking in churches. I serve on several trusts & I’m an external advisor for a number of churches; add to that Police Chaplaincy and writing and selling books!
I return to Europe on 18th September. I land in France and I’m in Le Havre, then onto South Holland. A VCI day is scheduled as well as ministry in several churches. Then it’s off to England to visit a good friend. Warsaw, Poland is next, then to London and back to Belgium and South Holland for more meetings before leaving for home. I arrive back on the 17th October.
I would appreciate prayer for this. I really desire to see churches multiply, especially those of the micro variety. Small multiplies more easily and can impact towns and villages which Europe is made up of. The big idea that I went to Europe for, was to Ignite church planting movements. It is slowly beginning to take place. Of course, I always want it to go faster, but the seed continues to be sown. I think my grandchildren and great grandchildren will see what I imagine in my Spirit.
I have just printed a rewrite of my back-to-front book, “How to Multiply Churches”. It’s pictured below. It’s a bit larger and has stories of what’s happening in NZ and overseas. It also has some amazing stories that have happened throughout the centuries, which are great to highlight as multiplication took place without huge Attendance numbers, Buildings or Cash. (What I call ABC) Quite phenomenal really.
You can order online…There is a digital copy available as well!!
Police Chaplaincy:- I’m having some great conversations with the Police as I walk around. I’ve been able to get a large van load of food for the Family Harm team; plus quite a few thousand dollars for them to use. Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Tauranga have supplied this - they are absolutely amazing. The Family Harm team give out food if they see a need at a family incident. In the middle of August there were over 70 family incidents in one week in the Bay! Now some of those incidents are low level; in saying that the violent Family Harm incidents are on the rise. It is so sad that this happens in our country. It’s good that we can do something.
Karen spends every Monday morning at the hospital as a chaplain. She has some amazing conversations and is often able to pray for those goingthrough serious health issues.
