Wow, it’s been a while since the last update. All is well in the Nick and Karen household.

‍We’ve had Josh & Amberley and the 4 grandies live with us for the last 9 months, while they built their dream home on a lifestyle block. It’s been fun, but of course somewhat challenging at times as we have had eight people a 3 bedroom home. But it was fantastic that we could do this. They moved out a couple of weeks ago.

I asked one of our grandies what was her new house like, she answered, “our house is much nicer than your house grandad”.  “Of course”, I said. Such an honest wee sweetie!

Covid thus far has passed us by. I have been able to take funerals, teach at Faith Bible College and speak in various NZ churches, near and far.  

Karen is still enjoying her funeral directing and usually works a 26hr week.

Karen and I have booked our flights to Europe on the 24th of August. I have missed seeing our European friends, so it will be fun to catchup with them all again. We’ll be traveling to Holland, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, UK and I am aiming to go to Poland. Karen will come home on the 19th September via Brisbane. Her Dad passed away last year during lockdown, and she hasn’t seen her family as yet.

The VCI network in Europe continues to remain strong and we have scheduled a day in September to meet together. These are always powerful, encouraging and fantastic times. It will be so good. We will also get to meet the new church in Germany.

During lockdown last year I began Multiplication Network (MxN) with a few friends. We meet at least once a quarter. Even though this network is fairly new, it is amazing how fast it is expanding… or should I say multiplying.

My books are still selling… amazing. Also I have another book on the go, for the general market… more on that next time!
